The creator of the Oolaboolah
company who callers herself “Boo” shares her story. Her first experience with
eating a raw food diet was when she was 15. Already, at this young age, she
began to experience the benefit of taking in fresh, unprocessed foods.
“I have always believed that there is a path to improving one’s health that did not need to include traditional medical doctors,” Boo says. Although, when she states this she is referring to the preventative health benefits of eating a raw food diet-not for when a person is on a stretcher headed to the emergency room.
Part of her inspiration for turning to raw food is in the life of her father, whose doctors prescribed him pill after pill. Yet, he still died at age 49. “...his doctors did little to help him live, on the contrary. I was determined to live differently.”
Live on Boo does, and she now shares tasty raw food variations of favorite foods. Recipes for lasagna, soup, sushi, and more are provided at Oolaboolah.com
