ADHD

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is now a very common condition in children.  Modern medicine has a way of checking in the genes for markers of ADHD. Children with ADHD have hard time focusing on tasks and it can be frustrating for most parents to see their children act the way they act. Advances in science have slowly found ways to deal with ADHD. Some ways included changing the diet and enrolling the kids in special schools. There are also medications that control behaviour associated with ADHD. Parents now have the information on different ways to cope with children with ADHD.

Because genetics play and important role in the body’s makeup, experts have correlated presence of certain genes with the existence of ADHD.  A child’s genetic makeup comes from both parents. It is only logical to look into these genetic markers when dealing with ADHD.  While genes cannot be altered, there are methods like modification of nutrition, environment and behaviour that can have an impact on ADHD.  Behavioral changes are assessed by ADHD specialists. There are ADHD specialists that can also help assess the level of treatment and therapy needed for the ADHD patient.

xR is a customized health care program that will check your child’s ADHD markers and create nutritional plan for your child.  Because laboratory tests are done before creating an ADHD nutritional plan, you can be sure that the nutritional plan complements with the current medications prescribed and what is needed by the body.  There is monitoring on how the body responds to the medications and meal plan so changes can be made should there are methods and medications that no longer applies.  This is good especially there is so much to learn about ADHD and there are no sure fire ways to manage it.  ADHD can be managed with proper observation, monitoring and care.
